Amy Joy Ryan
Hello, I’m Amy Joy Ryan, the owner and a seasoned aesthetician at A Joy Aesthetics in Argyle, Texas. With over 20 years of experience in the medical aesthetics industry, I specialize in a variety of treatments including laser therapies, facials, chemical peels, RF micro-needling, microneedling, and most recently, semi-permanent makeup. My passion for aesthetics continues to grow as I help others achieve their skincare goals. I pride myself on listening to your concerns and providing expert, personalized care to enhance your skin’s health and beauty. My mission is to not only improve your skin but also boost your confidence through customized treatment plans tailored to your unique needs.
My personal life I have two handsome boys, husband and a dog named Annie she was a rescue. We love the out doors and camping with the family, exploring every chance we get.

Dr. Jared Richardson
We are excited to introduce our Medical Director, Dr. Jared Richardson, to the A Joy Aesthetics team. Dr. Richardson is a board-certified physician with over 20 years of experience, focusing on health and wellness by addressing both the inside and the outside. He believes that maintaining our appearance plays a key role in boosting self-esteem and personal well-being, often leading to healthier lifestyle choices. Dr. Richardson is looking forward to contributing his expertise to help enhance your overall wellness.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Richardson enjoys spending time with his wife Kimberly, celebrating 25 years of marriage, and their four daughters and four dogs. In his free time, he loves traveling and discovering new experiences. Dr. Richardson is eager to work alongside Amy to support your journey to health and happiness.

Hi, I’m Heather Harris, and I am beyond excited to be part of the A Joy Aesthetics team! My journey into esthetics was unexpected but truly life-changing. After spending nearly 30 years raising my incredible family of seven, one of my daughters decided to attend esthetics school and invited me to join her. Of course, I jumped at the chance to spend more time with her—and to my surprise, I absolutely fell in love with the industry.
Helping others feel as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside is my passion. Some of my favorite treatments include customized facials, microneedling, chemical peels, and non-invasive body sculpting. I love creating a relaxing, results-driven experience for my clients, leaving them feeling confident and refreshed.
When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll find me soaking up time with my amazing kids (now all grown!), my adorably funny grandkids, and my big, lovable mastiff, Beaux. I also love paddleboarding, long beach days, and discovering great new places to eat.
I can’t wait to meet you and help you achieve your skincare goals.
